ALBERT DRIVE Project is looking for people to join our team and be a part of the ALBERT DRIVE event in July.
We need volunteers to act as ambassadors for the ALBERT DRIVE Project by hosting and helping with our event at Tramway on the 6th and 7th of July 2013.
The weekend event at Tramway is made up of the following;
Performance - A performance in Tramway 1 performed my members of the Albert Drive community who have been meeting weekly to make a show together with lead artists Glas(s) Performance.
Exhibition - An exhibition of the work by the ALBERT DRIVE Project resident artists. The work will be exhibited both in Tramway and in locations on Albert Drive.
Shared Meal - A free meal for the community to eat together, catered by the local shops and community groups of Albert Drive.
Event Volunteers need to be available for the full day and evening on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July and also be able to attend a training evening the week prior to the event. More details about the training evening will follow shortly.
Event Volunteers need to be aged 16 or over and no prior experience is needed – just a willingness to get involved!
Event Volunteers can be involved in a variety of ways during the event from hosting the Shared Meal to welcoming audience members and guiding guests around our onsite and offsite exhibitions over the weekend.
